The Luzerne County Asthma Coalition will promote, preserve and protect the health and quality of life for people living with asthma by educating the community about life-long asthma control.
Goals of the Luzerne County Asthma Coalition
Awareness & Education:
To increase awareness of asthma’s symptoms, impacts, treatments and self-management.
Environment & Workplace:
To reduce environmental and occupational triggers of asthma in the workplace.
Provider:
To increase healthcare provider use of evidence-based national asthma treatment guidelines.
Public Policy:
To initiate and/or support public policy change that will improve asthma related health consequences.
